Overzicht

Less than a mile from Windermere Railway Station and town centre, the Ivythwaite Lodge Guest House offers luxurious rooms, free parking and free Wi-Fi. The Lodge has a private garden.

All rooms have en suite bathrooms, flat-screen TVs and iPod docks. Some rooms have aqua spa baths, power showers and four-poster beds.

The centre of Bowness is a 15-minute walk away, giving you access to the Windermere Ferry, the World of Beatrix Potter museum and water sports on Lake Windermere.

Kendal, Grasmere and Dove Cottage, the home of William Wordsworth are only a 20 minute drive away and the M6 motorway is only 15 minutes’ drive from Ivythwaite Lodge.

Travel information

From the South or North:
leave the m6 at junction 36 and follow the a591 towards Windermere. Turn off the a591 at Windermere, travel down the main road through Windermere until reaching an ornamental clock on your left. Turn in here and continue to the junction with Princes Road on your right. Ivythwaite Lodge is just on the left.
